　　Given above are the figures concerning customers’ considerations when choosing restaurants in a certain city in 2017. To be specific, the unique feature of a restaurant is the prior consideration of customers, which accounts for 36.3% of all factors, with service (26.8%) and environment (23.8%) following behind.

　　The pie chart mirrors a popular trend that when choosing restaurants, people’s focus shifts from the price of dishes to the distinctive features and the overall feelings brought by the restaurants. The following reasons can account for the phenomenon. For one thing, with the enhancement of people’s living standard, they no longer have to worry about the price. Instead, the unique style a restaurant owns offers them a novel experience. For another, better service and environment helps customers to relieve the stress from work and makes them feel at ease. Therefore, more consumers are attracted by restaurants with superb service and environment.

　　Given the above factors, I believe the tendency will continue in the years to come. Restaurants should be more customer-oriented and do their best to meet people’s needs if they want to be outstanding in the competition.
