　　例1: Tina is a student and Tom is a doctor. (并列句)

　　例2：It tends to ignore, and thus eventually to eliminate, many elements in the land community that lack commercial value, but that are essential to its healthy functioning.(并列结构)

　　在例1当中and并列连词前后面都是基本的“主谓宾结构”，也就是简单句的结构即构成了“简单句1+and+简单句2=并列句”的结构;而在例2当中是but连接的“从句1+but+从句2”的并列结构。

　　其次，是画结构。画结构需要注意A and B连接，需要按照“结构相似，成分相同”以及A，B and C的结构(即并列连词一定出现在后一个并列成分的前面)，所以要由B推出A 。

　　例3：Beethoven’s habit of increasing the volume with an extreme intensity and then abruptly following it with a sudden soft passage was only rarely used by composers before him.

　　在这个句中并列连词为and, 根据“结构相似，成分相同”发现and后面有v-ing+with介词短语，following it with a sudden soft passage，的结构，所以and前面找到相同的v-ing+with介词短语，即increasing the volume with an extreme intensity，故而推断出二者位并列关系。
