　　On March 12, 2023, I participated in a career planning seminar, which consisted of three parts—alumni experience sharing, interactive discussions, and a Q & A session.

To begin with, some alumni shared with us their personal experiences about job hunting and offered us some insightful tips on exploring career options. I was quite impressed by one alumnus’ clear career plan, various hard and soft skills and excellent internship experience. Secondly, the seminar included interactive discussions where employers from various enterprises discussed job trends, which were vital to the success of long-term career planning. In the following Q & A session, alumni and employers enthusiastically answered plenty of questions about career planning. In conclusion, the seminar, to a large extent, has helped me realize the necessity of career planning. Undoubtedly, we should attach great importance to planning our career, acquiring diverse skills, gaining internship experience, and keeping up with the latest job trends. Only in this way can we achieve a long- term career success.

The Winter Solstice has the shortest day and the longest night of the year, marking the beginning of the coldest period of the year. After the Winter Solstice, the temperature gets lower and lower, and people’s outdoor activities gradually decrease. Farmers don’t do much work in the field. They are busy maintaining irrigation systems, protecting crops from freezing, and preparing for spring planting. Chinese people have always attached great importance to the Winter Solstice. Many places regard it as a festival and celebrate it in different ways. People in the north have the custom of eating jiaozi on this day, while people in the south have the tradition of eating tangyuan.
