　　【修饰成分】 that people working with robots that showed vulnerability spent more time talking with their fellow humans than did those in control groups 是宾语从句，主干为 people spent more time talking with their fellow humans。 working with robots 是 V-ing 短语作后置定语， 修饰 people。 that showed vulnerability 是定语从句， 修饰 robots。 than 后的部分发生了完全倒装，正常语序应为 those in the control groups did， 其中， those 指代的是 people， did 是对 spent time talking with their fellow humans 的替换。

　　【翻译】他们发现，与“示弱”机器人一起玩游戏的参与者比对照组的参与者花更多时间与其人类同伴交谈。
