　　修饰成分：which claims to publish 25 % of the scientific papers produced in the world是which引导的定语从句，修饰The Dutch giant Elsevier，其中produced in the world是短语作后置定语，修饰papers;while UK universities alone spent more than £ 210m in 2016 to enable researchers to access their own publicly funded research是状语从句，与主句形成对比其中while表示“而”，to enable researchers to access their own publiclyfunded research是目的状语。第二个分句中，desperate efforts to change them是让步状语。
