两篇和13年类似,下面是徐州朱燕华的两篇作文示范。
Dear Sir or Madam,有的表达很复杂,需要简单一些
I am honored to invite all of you to attend the graduation ceremony this year.
First things first, the ceremony will be held on the first Sunday next month, beginning at 2pm. As to the location, to house all students and our distinguished guests, we decided to hold this ceremony in the auditorium in No.2 Building. There will be a variety of programs, ranging from mime to one-man talk show to singing and dancing. Hope you can enjoy the show. And the one thing that we students expect most is your address. Please say something to those about to leave the ivory tower and step in society, because we believe words from someone who can speak from experience will have a huge impact.
We cannot wait to see you. Do reply after reading this email, and have a nice day!
Yours,
Li Ming
大作文只要思考学生以及大学如何对待选修课即可,至于创新只是一个点而已,如果全部只围绕创新写,是要扣分的。
In the cartoon, a young man is choosing optional courses on his laptop. Probably he has decided to attend the course that is promised to be easy to pass and to be generous about scores, while obviously the description of another course as being creative and difficult intimidates him.
Clearly, we have two things to discuss: what kind of selective courses universities should offer and how students can make the most of these courses. On the one hand, courses that can be used as the means for students to idle away precious time in college when these young men and women should learn new things and grow from innocence of youth to the responsibility of adulthood shouldn’t even be allowed to exist. In contrast, universities should tailor optional courses to the changing needs of students and society to better help students gear for the future job market. On the other hand, students themselves should know clearly about their preferred fields of study, because they will benefit more if they are learning what they are passionate about. If some still do not know their preferences as to what to learn, they may just as well need to place the same amount of emphasis on science as on arts, because no one can predict whether or not employers in the near future will value creative thinking skills over practical or technical skills. In doing so, such breadth of knowledge will make their future full of possibilities.
In conclusion, selective courses --- be they creative or not ---- will be truly helpful as long as universities offer high quality courses of this kind and students must know why their parents spend so much money to send them to colleges and know their own individual merits on which right decisions will be made.
