Write an essay based on the following chart. In your essay, you should

You should write about 150 words neatly on the ANSWER SHEET. (15 points)
The pie chart above clearly illustrates the percentage of concerns of consumers when they were making an option upon where to eat in a city in 2017. From the statistics given, we may draw the conclusion that the percentage of the focus on the uniqueness of a restaurant is the highest among all, at approximately 36.3%, whereas the data of service quality and decoration style list behind, accounting for 27.4% and 24.3% respectively. Meanwhile, the price-related factor only affects consumers the least, merely occupying 7.3%. Other matters take up the remaining 4.7% collectively.
There are at least two fundamental causes accounting for this phenomenon. On the one hand, with the unprecedented development in food culture, individuals nowadays tend to have a meal more for mental enjoyment and satisfaction, instead of just meeting the basic demand of eating for survival. Therefore, customers, especially the young generation, choose a restaurant based on its decorative style, some certain theme, comfort level and considerate service, not just food quantity and price. On the other hand, the intensely competitive market environment among various restaurants makes the catering business place more emphasis on improving their service and upgrading their business strategy in order to attract more customers. Thus, picky customers increasingly concentrate on those soft matters even regardless of the price of the dishes.
To sum up, I am convinced that eating no longer means filling up someone’s stomach but is more of an enjoyment in modern life. Besides, innovation and service quality have been and will still be vital in a great many fields including the catering industry.
