Dear professors,
On behalf of the Student Union, I would like to express my wholehearted gratitude first for the four-year effort you have made in teaching in our university. Besides, I am writing this email in purpose of making a heartfelt invitation, faithfully hoping that all of you will be present on our graduation ceremony, which will be held on July, 10, 2017 in the Great Hall of our teaching building.
It would be our great honor if you can come to grant certain top students the scholarship and award which will be provided by our department. Additionally, thousands of graduating students will be sitting in the auditorium then, waiting for some of you to give 15-minute speeches or lectures to offer them certain conducive proposals for their future life.
My obligation to your timely presence is beyond words. Looking forward to your reply at your earliest convenience and then I will show you more detailed information.

Entering the information age, almost no one appears to fail to notice the great impact of computers and the Internet. Accordingly, it is not a strange phenomenon for young adults to select curriculum via computers, just as what the cartoon vividly portrays. Besides the picture, the two labels also present us with some key words describing the features of such a method of course-option: a higher mark, an easier test, less after-class assignment, more updated knowledge, more emphasis on innovation coupled with difficulty. The caption below reads: “while choosing curriculum”.
It is not hard to see that the advancement of Internet technology has got involved in almost all aspects of our daily life, and education is no exception, especially regarding the process of opting academic subjects. This is mainly because of its huge convenience and high efficiency, which is the byproduct of the fast-developing world. What’s more, the Internet is able to integrate numerous resources in a systematical way, thus ensuring a scientific access to appropriate, innovative and convenient contents of education in different levels. Finally, be it the undergraduates or high school students, learning independence during school time is of great significance, which can be gained from planning their own study schedule through the Internet.
As what has been said above, I am convinced that with the help of technology, everything tends to be more convenient and efficient, and education system as a crucial part of our society should not be isolated from such a wonderful technology.
