I am writing this email to recommend some of famous tourists' attractions in my city since it is your first time to be here.
The first place I recommend is the famous Summer Palace. Due to its royal garden and vast Kunming Lake, many tourists would pay a visit. Secondly, if you are in favor of ancient Chinese buildings, Forbidden City would be a wise choice for you. Because it was the living place of royal members in Ming and Qing dynasty. Last but not least, during autumn day, XiangShan Mountain would be your favorites if you are good at hiking.

分析：
2017年英语一考研作文仍然采取了大家熟悉的漫画作文，并且是双幅，这几年的漫画作文均有中文提示，就是考虑到考生可能对主题作出各类分析，比如今年的主题在于阅读，或者阅读的态度；有很多考生可能选择了目标、脚踏实地等话题，也是在可接受范围之内，但是分数会受到一定的影响。从整体上来说，难度并没有比2016年有所上升。
我们在12月1日和8日的押题班中，明确给大家提到了阅读的重要性这一主题，如果考生能够注意的话，会在考场上有非常好的发挥。

These two cartoons illustrate two entirely different attitudes towards reading books among youngsters. A youngster in the left cartoon who is seated comfortably claims that he owns a large amount number of books, with a full shelf of books in front of him, but none of them has been read. While, another one is doing his reading task, with a goal that he strives to read 20 books within one year. Obviously, the author conveys that reading should be measured by the books read not owned.
Over these years, it is hardly a news that current young generations are lacking of reasonable habit in reading, which has been reported by CCTV, indicating that over 30% of youngsters are likely to regard reading as a casual not consistent behavior. Why is this phenomenon so prevalent? The first one is closely related to current education, and it attaches higher importance to scores instead of guiding them how to cultivate a positive habit in reading. Meanwhile, current society fails to create a positive atmosphere in reading.
All in all, reading should be guided among youngsters. Even if there would be a series of problems, it would play a leading role in current days.
