As one of your students who benefit a lot from your lectures, I, honorably and pleasantly, am writing this letter to recommend a famous tourist attraction to you-the Forbidden City.
All will accept that China is a country renowned in the world for long history and prosperous culture, and the Forbidden City is one of the best embodiment of both respects. You will be absorbed, I believe, into the immense cultural connotation displayed everywhere in the City. The buildings diverse in the shape and function tell a long and grand story about the roughly 700-year Chinese history of Ming and Qing Dynasty.

It is immensely revealed in the picture that acts affect much more than everything. A student, as is depicted in the picture, is proud of his great collection of books, who does not feel like reading any one of them. The other young man, however, is absorbed into reading and makes the resolution of finishing twenty books in a year. The distinction has to be admitted between owning books and reading books.
Undoubtedly the pictures above convey the meaning that the young need make plans and take actions so as to achieve their dreams. Possession is a desire and act is the only way to make it met. As the saying goes, reading can make people encounter different lives, expand people's horizon by meeting distinctive authors, and arm people's mind with great ideas. A good many people, just like the proud student in the picture, take possession of a good number of books and never read them, while others, just like the immersed young man in the cartoon, are hungry for knowledge from the book. What a contrast!
Accordingly, it is time that people were called on to start from action. Owning means nothing but a boost of vanity, and the down-to-earth action is the only way to make the plan of reading accomplished and make life enriched.
