　　Call a truce

　　Didi Chuxing, a Chinese mobile transportation platform, has denied rumors about merging with Uber Technologies. A Bloomberg report previously claimed that investors wanted the companies to call a truce, since the two have been competing to become China’s top ride-hailing app. Both have been pouring money into expanding their services and attracting customers, by offering low-cost promotional deals. Neither company would confirm a deal had been struck.

　　滴滴出行近日否认了要和优步合并的传言。此前，彭博的一份报告指出，投资方希望两家公司停战。优步和滴滴出行一直在竞争成为中国叫车应用软件行业的老大，两家公司提供低价优惠，在扩张业务和吸引客户方面投入了巨额资金。两家公司都没有确认相关的合并交易。
