　　Serial explosions

　　A series of deadly bombings rocked Syria on Feb 21, killing at least 150 people. The serial explosions occurred in central and southern Syria, resulting in one of the highest single-day death tolls during the last five years of Syria’s conflict. The Islamic State terror group has claimed credit for the attack. According to the BBC, more than 250,000 Syrians have been killed since the Syrian Civil War started in March 2011. On Feb 27, US and Russia announced a new ceasefire plan that applies to all parties except terrorist organizations like the Islamic State (IS). The plan will begin on Feb 27, said the US State Department.
