　　Vanish from the radar

　　An Airbus A320, en route from Paris to Cairo with 66 people aboard, vanished from the radar early on May 19. The flight, operated by EgyptAir, was confirmed to have crashed in the Mediterranean. Some debris has since been found. But the main body of the plane and the two “black boxes” that record flight data and cockpit transmissions have not yet been located.

　　5月17日，一架由巴黎飞往开罗的空客A320飞机从雷达上消失，客机上载有66人。这家埃及航空的航班已经确认在地中海坠毁，部分残骸随后被发现。但是机身主体以及两个载有飞行数据和驾驶舱信息的黑匣子还没有被定位。

　　马上学：“从雷达上消失”除了vanish，还可以用动词disappear或者drop off (the radar)。飞机“失联”是lose contact。
